The College-Level Exam Program ( CLEP ) gives eligible military personnel, including veterans, a faster way to finish college and earn valuable college credits. CLEP exams are proficiency-based multiple-choice tests that Provide individuals pursuing a college degree with a way to earn college credits without attending a traditional college class. Since many enlisted military personnel are usually not able to attend traditional college classes, taking CLEP tests is a great way to work towards a degree while enlisted.

Another advantage of CLEP test for currently enlisted military personnel is the price. . . FREE! Most active duty military personnel and many veterans qualify for military-funded CLEP exams. If you are currently serving in the military, contact your Educational Services Officer (ESO) to see if you are eligible for free CLEP tests. The ESO can then inform you Which military bases in the United States and abroad offer on base CLEP testing centers.
