God loves Westboro Baptist Church?

I am proud of the service of Lance Corporal Matthew Snyder, U.S. Marine Corps, who died defending the Constitution of the United States of America. He is one of a long line of American service members who have given their lives so that all Americans can live in peace with our freedoms.

In my opinion, the conduct of members of the Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka is to Kansas, to take it that they killed themselves to picket and protest at the funerals of service members in combat, highly inappropriate. I personally can not understand how they imagine that they represent in any way either the teachings of Jesus Christ or God Almighty.

However, I believe the eight Members of the Supreme Court of the United States who were excluded in favor of the Westboro Baptist Church correct in their decision. The first Amendment to the Constitution of the United States is inviolable, and our Freedom of Speech is the bedrock of what it means to be American. It is exactly what gives the United States its strength. I pray that Matthew Snyder so parents can see some day.

Defending the defense of our freedoms means, ideas and opinions that we loathe. But what would happen if we do not? What would happen with our values ​​as Americans, if we right to express opinions could defend hated? The risk is that very soon we could find our own opinions by a majority of people who hate to want to silence us. All you have to do is to look at the whole world to see brought the long-term performance of countries whose people silenced by their governments. Too many of its people live in poverty, and the harbor resentment, as in the revolutions in Tunisia, Egypt, Yemen, Bahrain and now Libya explode seen.

It means nothing, that the controversy of the Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, Kansas is completed. In the same sense that the Americans can exercise their freedom of speech, then the Americans, their behavior is inappropriate and condemned by God to believe, speak now and say that "church" a taste of his own medicine. As a retired Marine, if I lived in Kansas, I would like my clock picket these people are. In fact, I believe many upstanding Christians, not to mention the Americans of other religions would be pleased to show the members of the Westboro Baptist Church, as they lost their way in the eyes of God, exercising their freedom of speech and freedom of assembly in the process .
