In his new film, Ryan Gosling falls in love with a sex doll. Will the sub blow up in his face?

How "method" is Ryan Gosling? The 27-year-old actor and Oscar-nominated star of Half Nelson and The Notebook pushed actorly intensity to the limits of his new film, Lars and the Real Girl, in which he suggested a sweet inhibited office worker who falls for a silicon-sex play doll. It is an achievement poured dramatically between comedy and tragedy, and to make it credible, balanced living, the method supremo (9 kg) on an extra £ 20, in his character of the garage and … "This is just bullshit man!" interrupts Gosling, ridicule on the whole the Toronto hotel bar, where he is finishing a hard day promoting the film.
