You can count on to sully the bloviating Reverend Al Sharpton of the funeral service for Michael Jackson in Los Angeles on Tuesday, 7 July, 2009. Not for the first time the consummate media-seeking irreverent reverend has done something of this nature. And as long as he is the spokesman for all black America and black America as long as he keeps permitted to perpetuate this false image of the rest of us, it wonâ? T be the last.

In his sermon too high / lecture during a Sunday service in Los Angeles prior to the funeral on Tuesday, Al suggested in no uncertain terms, that Michael Jackson was a victim of racial injustice in his lifetime, and perhaps even more so now in his death. Also at the funeral there was an undertone of disappointment in Sharptonâ? S remarks

Sunday sermon from the pulpit ofa First African Methodist Episcopal Church in Los Angeles, Sharpton complained that media coverage of Michael Jackson's death.

"I ama here because of the shame and the despicable way some elements of the media tried to destroy the legacy and image of Michael Jackson," he railed against the church, according to which the media have different standards for black and white -celebrities.

"You have had other entertainers who have had problems in their lives," he said. "But you did not degrade and denigrate them … Show the same respect for Michael and Michael family that you showed Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley."

(For Reverend Al Note: There are countless books at your local library detailing the myriad shortcomings of the two artists.)

Hogwash, Reverend Al! You all right peopleÂ, the media handled Jacksonâ? S death with kid gloves, mostly ignored his ultra-weird lifestyle change, cosmetic surgery and multiple child abuse allegations shenanigans, countless hours during tribute programs and adoring attention to his pop legacy. So much so that there are now almost disgusting and grossly overestimated. Statements of people like Barry Gordy and others that Michael Jackson was â? The greatest performer the world has ever knownâ? and â? There will never be anyone like him again! â? are ridiculous, extreme and so superfluous as to be comic in nature.

Jackson was a great showman, and he will take its place in American pop culture are safe. He sold millions of albums, was a global phenomenon in its time? long as the one passed to his death? and has legions of adoring – and forgiving – fans. That does not deserve the status of a? Worldâ? S the best all-Timea? nothing, even taking into account the emotional nature of his untimely death and the tendency of some, emotion-laden statements are not good in a time of being disturbed thoughts of doing something.

Michael Jackson was an American success story, the glamorous lifestyle of the n-th degree, accumulated hundreds of millions of dollars in wealth and living was a role model for other aspiring artists covet success in the fickle world of music. He entertained us and loved his music and some dancing. His life was sometimes tragic. He proved mortal in the end and that is the fate of us all. That and nothing else.

The Sharpton would be this tragic event as a headline grabber to use a media focal point, and as another self-serving promotion of his own agenda is disgusting and outrageous best in its core. He insulted millions of Americans supported, and adored Michael Jackson during his entire life and have been in his death, especially white Americans would be without their support in making a purchase from his notes it is not the Jackson phenomenon in the first place were sad.

And, let's face it â? in his criticism of the media for a lack of sensitivity and a lack of understanding of black culture, there is another Sharptonâ? s hidden racist accusations, all white America. "I do not believe that to understand the media, who was Michael war''Â Sharpton was quoted as saying in wire reports. “ I do not think they (read? Whiteyâ?) No cultural significance.''As if Sharpton is the only one who really understood Jackson are black and pop-culture, while the rest of us white folk insensitive and racist.

Sharpton has long been a supplier of the policy had been one? Victimizationâ? and he has refined this approach in his ascent. Preacherhood of the way back in the race baiting of his days in Harlem, when he a complete fool of during such off-the-wall antics in the â? Tawanna Brawleyâ? Incident has to sell Sharpton made his living as black racism peoplesâ? Chains in white America. He has flourished in this approach often alienating white America.

At a time when a fiery preacher, he has become a comic caricature of himself to the surface, when and where he sees a chance to promote media no issue other than Al Sharpton. How can we be surprised that he will pop up at this time of mega media coverage reporting a surplus, the death of a pop legend to a favorable deal of attention, controversy and fame to honor Michael Jackson grab?

Shame on you, Reverend Al Sharpton! Shame on their selfish ways and your insatiable quest for embezzling attention of the media in a time like this. I'm sorry for what you have become.

Michael Jackson deserves better.
