Top 5 Great iOS 5 features Apple not to mention the trouble

When Apple introduced iOS 5 at this year's WWDC, they touted the fact that their latest version of IOS over 200 new features are offered, but chose only a small handful of them emphasized. Shortly after the announcement, iOS 5 Beta was available for developers, and countless people were combing the software to dig up the remaining 190 or so features that Apple did not want to highlight.

Here we are on you 5 great features that Apple does not introduce mentioned. Needless to say, there are many other features that you learn over the next few weeks, but these are some of our favorites.

First FaceTime goes 3G

Even iPhone fans already loudly with their complaints about video chat on the iPhone is limited to wireless connections. This restriction is removed in iOS 5, as FaceTime is 3G capable. It is worth noting, however, that this will probably depend on your service provider, there may be certain media refrain to put a heavier burden on their strained bandwidth 3G networks.

Second Custom vibration alerts

Custom audio alerts are helpful. It is useful to screen to be calls from your wife or boss, not even on the phone looks, thanks to the Jaws theme song when the call comes in. Come iOS 5 plays, you can do the same even if in a vibrating alert. iOS 5 allows you to specify custom vibration patterns by a clever interface, the oscillation pattern is based on the touch screen to create builds.

Third LED flash alerts

iPhone owners, the earlier part of the Palm Treo or BlackBerry camps fondly remember flashing LED alerts you visually to date (from a considerable distance) that you have new voice mail, e-mail, SMS or whatever had. These older versions were particularly marked with different colors and even different flash patterns. In addition, the LED on these devices usually sat on the top / front of the device, making it visible, the vast majority of the time. iOS 5 performs this function to iPhone owners, though in a slightly dumbed down fashion, on the back of the iPhone LED positioning and it is limited to a single color. Still pretty neat.

4th 1080p HD playback

Until iOS 5, iPhone and iPad users have limited 720p playback. In fact, iTunes will not even sync content to 1080p IOS IOS devices before 5th With the new release of IOS, however, enabled 1080p support completely. Many will point out that 1080p may not serve a purpose to current IOS devices because of their screen resolutions. However, support for 1080p have significant consequences for those who use the iPhone or iPad 2 to output video to their TVs or other displays.

5th Alternate Routes on Google Maps

Okay, so this is not quite what we had hoped for, but it's there forever. If you're an avid Google Maps user, you have long been lacking the ability to more than a single route to generate on Google Maps. If iOS 5, maps, a variety of routes that can choose between offering. We want to see click-to-drag and personalized itineraries, a function that takes a long time in the PC version of Google Maps, but we are so very welcome improvements to the maps app.
