After almost five decades, people like James Noce finally tell their stories about Area 51.
Yes, the Area 51
The one that comes when people talk about secret projects brought Air Force, crashed UFOs, alien bodies, and of course, conspiracies .
The secrets, some of which have been released.
Noce, 72, and his colleagues Area 51 veterans in the United States are now free to talk about doing contract work for the CIA in the 1960s and 70s in the arid, isolated southern Nevada government testing area.
Their stories shed some light on a site in the dark; classified projects still going on there. It is no leap of the defense of the curious 40 or 50 years ago to the defense of the curious, who now drive to Area 51
The veterans' stories provide an insight into real-life government covert operations, with their daily routines and moments of excitement.
Noce tries not publicity. But when contacted, he was happy to say what it was.
"I want secrecy was sworn in for 47 years. I could not talk about it," he says.
In the 1960s, Area 51 was the proving ground for the A-12 and its successor, the SR-71 Blackbird, a secret spy plane that the records documented at speeds unmatched untapped. The CIA says it reached Mach 3.29 (about 2,200 mph or 3,500 kph) at an altitude of 90,000 feet.
But after September 2007 when the CIA of an A-12 before its Langley, Va., headquarters as part of the agency's 60th Birthday, much of the secrecy of these days in Area 51 was displayed.
Warning to ufologists: Sorry to say though Noce Area 51 and other veterinarians, they saw many secret things, make no statements about aliens.
But on the confidentiality part.
Noce, remembers always get paid in cash, the signing of a phoney name, receipt, during his years of work safety on site. It was in the CIA parlance, "a black project."
Noce said he had no documents showing that he worked at Area 51 for the CIA. He says that was mean.
Others who received checks say they came from different companies, including Pan American World Airways.
But Noce is guaranteed by TD Barnes, Henderson, Nevada, Founder and President of Roadrunners Internationale, the membership 325th Barnes is the one he received checks from Pan Am, for which he had never worked, says.
Roadrunners are a group of 51 area veterinarians, including those with the U.S. Air Force, CIA, Lockheed, Honeywell and other affiliated parties.
For the past 20 years, they would at gatherings held every few years to meet her secretly. Her first public meeting was in October last year to a reunion in Las Vegas at the Atomic Testing Museum.
With increasing age creeps up on you, wants to Barnes, 72, Area 51 radar specialists, the work of the vets to be remembered.
Barnes And even someone who has completely believable, to vouch for him: David Robarge, chief historian for the CIA and author of Archangel: CIA's Supersonic A-12 reconnaissance aircraft.
Robarge said of Barnes, "He is very competent. He has never embellished."
Barnes says that the way in growing the membership of the Roadrunners from a guy telling another buddy for the CIA, worked at the Area 51, and has been working on. Barnes says other area veterinarians for guaranteed 51 Noce.
Noce was a 1955 Vancouver High grad, who went right into the Air Force and trained in radar.
Leaving the service in 1959, he worked as a store manager for Safeway in Camas, 30 miles east of Vancouver.
Sometime in late 1961, Noce got a call in the supermarket. It was from a buddy of his from the Air Force days, which was now working for the CIA.
"He knew that I considered the distance from the work on the radar," says Noce. "He asked me like, I would like to live in Las Vegas."
Noce agreed to go to Las Vegas and calling "a guy" who worked for "the Agency."
And so began Noce with security. Most of the time it was routine stuff. On Monday morning, was a Lockheed Superconstellation in the "Skunk Works" in Burbank, California to fly to bring engineers and others who have worked on the A-12. They would remain there during the week and return home on weekends.
Skunk Works was the nickname for the Lockheed Advanced Development Projects, which had the A-12 contract.
The routine included checking badges and stuff to make sure that no weapons or cameras. Security workers also made sure only those with appropriate clearance would witness a test flight.
And what a sight it was.
According to the CIA, recalled to his deceased former boss Richard Helms visit Area 51 and watching a midnight flight test of an A-12.
"Made The explosion of flame, black, insect-shaped projectile resting on the tarmac send me instinctively duck. It was as if the devil himself the way blew straight out of hell," said Helms, says former CIA Director Michael Hayden. Other times came, the routine is very exciting.
Noce, remembers when "Article 123" was named as one of the A-12 crashed on 24 May 1963, after the plane near Wendover, Utah to a halt. The pilot ejected and survived.
Noce said he was among those at the crash site into a giant cargo plane was loaded with several trucks. They loaded everything into the truck from the crash.
He recalls that a local deputy had either witnessed the crash or were quickly arrived on the scene. There was also a family on a vacation by car, the photos had made.
"We confiscated the camera, took out the film," says Noce. "We just said we worked for the government."
He says the deputy and the family were told not to talk to anyone about the crash, especially the . press
"We told them it would be devastating," said Noce. "Do you fear them."
As an added incentive, he says, the CIA came up with a briefcase full of money.
"I think it was like 25 large pieces, for the sheriff and the family," said Noce.
Robarge said cash was the norm to cover things up.
"It was standard practice"
Noce also remembers the safety dismantled in 1962 as an A-12 was transported along side streets of Burbank to Area 51. Trailer.
At one point, a Greyhound bus pulled in the opposite direction to the followers.
Robarge wrote, "Project Manager quickly authorized the payment almost, 000 for damage to the bus so that there would be no insurance or legal investigation."
About the aliens … Noce and Barnes say they never believe in UFOs.
Barnes believes that the Air Force and the CIA did not mind the stories about alien spacecraft. They helped cover up secret aircraft that were tested.
Once, he recalls, when the first jets were, what was tested Muroc Army Air Field, later renamed Edwards Air Force Base to set up a test pilot on a gorilla mask and flew upside down on a private pilot.
"Well, if this guy came back, telling reporters," I saw a plane that does not have a propeller and a monkey, flying 'good laugh, it this guy – and it was, where to see the guys would (test pilot), and they did not dare to report it because they everybody'd laugh, "says Barnes.
Noce, he says quite like to work at Area 51
He has paid 000 U.S. per month (approximately, 200 in today's dollars). Weekdays, he lived freely on the base in admittedly utilitarian housing – five men, the one-story house, a shared bathroom and kitchen.
Something that all of Area 51 vets remember about life at the base, he says, was the great food.
"They had this coming chefs from Las Vegas. They were like normal cooks," Noce recalled. "Day and night, you could get a steak, what you wanted."
Hummer was flown regularly from Maine. Bring a beam sent around the country to test its engines, which again would be juicy payload.
Noce would go on the weekends and other CIA people contracted to Las Vegas. They rented a pad in the courtyard and explored in a bar with space for two barrels of beer. It was a great time, grilling steaks and parties, says Noce.
Noce has two pieces of evidence from his Area 51 days: faded black-and-white snapshots secretly.
One shows him in 1962 before his 51st in unit area The other shows him from what he says, a fly over by two F-105 Thunderchief pilots the Air Force's Area 51 from curiosity. The pilots were forced to land and we were told that a no-fly zone is precisely what is meant.
Noce worked at Area 51 from early 1962 until end of 1965. He returned to Vancouver and spent most of his professional life as a longshoreman.
Noce, remembers once in the last few years in conversation with colleagues retired dock worker pals and told them stories about Area 51 When she did not believe him, he says, "Well, there was not anything I do to something able to prove."
Mary Pelevsky, a University of Nevada, visiting scholars, led the school Nevada Test Site Oral History Project 2003 to 2008. Around 150 people were interviewed about their experiences during the Cold War nuclear testing. Area 51 vets like Barnes also questioned.
The historian says it was difficult stories because review of secrecy at the time, cover stories, memory lapses and sometimes incorrect information.
But, she says, "I heard that night-and-dagger stuff, and you say:" No way. "Then you've heard enough and begin to recognize some of these stories are true."
In October, drove Noce and his son Chris, Colorado, to Las Vegas for the first public meeting of the Area 51 vets. He and his old pals remembered the days.
"I had something for the country," Noce says about those three years in the 1960s. "They told me:" If something should ever come, someone asks: "Did you work for the CIA Say?". Never heard of it, "But (my friends) know."

UFO censorship and cover-ups
From almost the day of the modern UFO era, the issue has been brought together and clouded with all sorts of conspiracy theories – the official censorship and deliberate concealment of information and publications of disinformation (red herrings). At the beginning it was definitely the national security and defense related, necessary security classifications. But once started, censorship and cover-up, well, it's a slippery slope that is too difficult to climb out.

The Roswell Incident: July 1947
Even if you have relatively little or only a passing acquaintance with UFOs, you have no doubts about the alleged 1947 UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico is one. If you are a serious UFO buff, then Roswell is probably something you have researched well and truly. IMHO, there is a case to be answered here, that it is not satisfactory until now, what's really happening is the beginning of July 1947 answers.
