Miss America visited small towns
The North Platte Telegraph, small-town Nebraska welcomes Teresa Scanlan, Miss America in a big way this week, as the 18-year-old national native title holders and low-stops made in Wellfleet and Curtis on Tuesday. Scanlan's in North Platte this week for the 2011 Miss Nebraska Scholarship Pageant, a contest she won a year ago. She earned the national crown in January.
