Today is the day to wear purple, "committed to bring the awareness set, and an end to intolerance in honor of the 6 boys who committed suicide in recent weeks / months because of homophobic abuse at home and in schools. Please note that the times are better and that you the people you love and respect you for who you are to be fulfilled regardless of your sexuality. "

Why I am a slacktivist? Because my wearing a purple T-shirt will do little to raise awareness. But I do, because what happened is just too much. Bullying is not new. I grew up not being bullied and I certainly hope no one felt bullied by me. People need to stop. It may be better. It will get better. It's getting better.
