About AIESEC AIESEC and our exchange program:

An international platform to explore the young people and their leadership skills to develop experience they can have a positive impact on society. AIESEC is the world's largest youth run, non-profit, non-governmental organization. It spread over 107 countries and 800 cities, Baroda where one of them. AIESEC is a set of events, projects and programs throughout the year. One of the most important programs is the Work Abroad Program. We send people from the ages of 16 and 34 to get from Baroda to one of these countries to international exposure in their respective fields. These range from practical training period of 2 to 18 months. Any person may, under each of the 4 go internships opportunities.

The internships vary like these:

• Developmental psychology internship – all educated people aged 17 to 34 is applicable

• Technical Training – Engineers, MCA, BCA, all IT professionals, etc

• Educational Laboratory – Each language teaching mostly English

• Management Internship – Bcom, MCOM, BBA, MBA, a professional management, etc.

The main purpose of these scholarships is unparallel to the placement or money, but a unique learning and international experience, no other organization in Baroda currently provides. It is an amazing and very inexpensive way for all those who are not satisfied with their jobs at the local level and / or need a boost in her career by an out of the box with international work experience.

This is a case study Hiral: –

It is almost 3 months now that I'm back to Vadodara with my family, after a memorable stay of 4 months in the city of Kyoto, Japan has spent. half I was in Japan for three and a kindergarten month internship through AIESEC as a teacher in Kyoto, Japan. I chose Japan from my love and affinity of the country, from my first visit in 2000. First thing that happened in the placement: you actually experience what the country is all about, things that you had just heard. Although I had already been to Japan before, it was like a whole new world this time. My interaction was initially only with AIESEC members, who helped me for a few days So that I know and familiarize yourself with the place, miles away from home.

Later I came into contact and worked with other interns from around the world. Although I was in Japan, I learned to like so much about Poland, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Greece and others. I had to learn to deal with people from all over the world, with different personalities, their culture, thinking and adapt our way of life to. Even in my own country I could not interact with new people, like me with these strange people, and amazingly it was so much more I had in common with these people as many of my friends. My shyness and lack of confidence which, as there was never extinguished. What I learned what that responsibility. As here I realized how much I had been spoiled back home, I learned to solve problems, make decisions, manage, and more on money, travel, job, much more all from me.

How it all helps me now, the mention of the internship on my resume, increase my chances of getting a job now I sign preferred. I now have a more open mind of ideas from around the world who helps me everyday in my work. I'ma different person, more confident, culturally sensitive, knowledge, and responsible Thus matured. It was like I took a break from my monotonous routine of life, to explore my deepest potential and to eliminate all my pull back. And not to forget I have the best friends, and had the best time of life with them.And I have contacts in all continents, if at all necessary. AIESEC was like my fairy God, and my life turned into a Happy Ever After.
