Charlie Weis: Pete Carroll affair with a degree student

Charlie Weis blew the lid off a Pete Carroll affair with a student. Check out this shot from Weis separation when it comes to the difference in media coverage between him and Carroll, as passed along by LBS contributors Botros:

Let me know this question: You guys, about things that go in different places. I was living with a PhD in Malibu, or was I with my wife in my house? You could bet that if I lived with a grad student here in South Bend, it would make national news. He does it in Malibu and it is not the national news. What is the difference? I do not understand. Well my friend, you may have broken some sort of unspoken "man codes," but now you have to speak the national media about it. Besides questions about the ethics of dating a student who is a married man Carroll. When he was with the affair and a life with a student, then we are looking at another Rick Pitino story minus the extortion. With a story like this out in the media could be harmful in the recruitment, some parents may not want to send her son to play for a known adulterer, mothers, especially mothers, or single for Pete. Carroll, as you would have expected, has already denied Weis' allegations: "It is untrue, it is irresponsible and it is incredible that he would talk about me like that." If it is untrue, then where the devil is always Weis their information? I guess it must be at least one truth that history, at least partial truths. Combine that history with USC-season and the heat was certainly turned on the USC program.
