Meredith Baxter Says She's a Lesbian

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – Meredith Baxter said she was a lesbian as media reports and published photos of her and hug a woman began to surface in public on Wednesday.

Meredith Baxter, 62, told NBC's "The Today Show" that she discovered she was seven years ago, Gay, several years after her divorce from her third husband. Meredith Baxter said her five children by the age of 25 to 42, supports her when she told them.

"I am a lesbian, and it was a later-in-life recognition," said Meredith Baxter. "I'm with someone I never expected to be involved with have, and it was this kind of awakening. I had great difficulty connecting with the men in relationships."

Their comments came in the middle of the last online photos of her walking with her girlfriend of four years, contractors and Nancy Locke reported that a Caribbean cruise with 1,200 lesbians who attended Meredith Baxter affirmed.

Meredith Baxter said she decided to speak to the media the facts to make correct. She also said she was once so paranoid the media would reveal her secret that she Locke, who was openly gay, asked to park their trucks further away.

"She said, 'No'. I thought, 'All right." I had to reach to a level of comfort. It was not fair to push them back into a kind of secrecy, and the beauty is that we very "lives to live out in Los Angeles," said Baxter.

Baxter played Elyse Keaton, the mother of Michael J. Fox 's conservative adjusted teenager Michael P. Keaton, 1982 to 1989. She has had recurring guest and TV roles since then and also runs a skin care company.
