Barbie games have had a 49-year history full of ups and downs, but Barbie managed to remain at the top.
A Barbie History
A long time favorite of girls young and old, Barbie has a life full of ups and downs. Social revolutions and political changes can all be seen in Barbie games through the years and in many cases, the social history of the great nations by changes in a simple plastic doll could be mapped.
Barbie meets the world
Barbara Millicent Roberts was the ninth in the world Introduced in March 1959. In a series of books published soon after her first debut Barbie were's parents called George and Margaret Roberts from Willows, Wisconsin, but in reality was Barbie, the brain child of a devoted mother, to fluctuate just happened with a large toy manufacturers, Mattel.

In 2008, she is a woman with a naturally formed several high profile careers, an extensive wardrobe and its own fleet of vehicles and homes. Barbie has been through a lot in the last 49 years have been, and that a comprehensive history has helped her remain a cultural legend popular with adult collectors and girls alike.

Barbie and Ken, Together Again
For Barbie fans, the state of things between Barbie and Ken leaves cause for concern. Together for 43 years, as the famous couple separated back to 2004. Many long-standing devotees to Barbie games were shocked when the long-term couple split, but others see the end come before me are entitled arrived. In addition to four years now, there are rumors that Barbie and Ken have been spotted together more frequently. These are lending fuel to gossip that the pair could be used for reconciliation.
The two plastic celebrities on the set of a television commercial in 1961, met and have since been together. Despite many well-known balls, parties and special occasions, the couple never married and finally reached a point where they needed a little distance from each other. There were rumors at the time of the break-up that both parties sought the attention of newer dolls, but no new relationships ever came from that gossip.
The New Ken
In 2004, Ken left Barbie amicably seeking a new single life. In 2006 he returned more muscular and more attractive than ever before. Although nothing is certain about which he was two years out of the limelight, it is obvious, at least some of his time was spent to develop a new body and a new style.
When Ken came back into the social arena Barbie's, he was immediately in competition with other fit, attractive types, and Barbie stayed cool. Or at least it seemed at the time. She complimented his new look through her publicist, but seemed not to return his renewed affections. In 2007, however, Barbie made a few changes in their lives. She developed a fitter, more natural look and took some of the latest styles. She changed careers (again) and new friends. And most importantly, it seems that small changes are made to have brought her Barbie back into the dating game.
The New Barbie
If a woman feels good about themselves, their self-esteem ratchets and so does her general state of productivity and satisfaction. Barbie looks good and feels great, and the men in her life – including Ken – are definitely taking notice.
Last year, Barbie and Ken have been seen leaving stores together and appear together in TV adverts. The pair was thought in 2006, have reconciled, but all evidence now shows that the two could be achieved, in fact, a new level of commitment in their relationship in 2008.
The new relationship
Barbie is a new woman, proud of their figures and their achievements. On their own for the first time in four decades, she showed the world that a woman can survive and thrive, most definitely on her own. Being apart gave both Barbie and Ken a golden opportunity to redefine itself and for new beginnings. And now that they have new perspectives on life, they also seem a very positive outlook on their future in common. We wish them good luck.
