A blond woman, or now we know her as Tiger Woods' mother-in-law was admitted to a hospital early Tuesday, touching the second in two weeks, media hype around the golf professional's private life guarded carefully.

Barbro Holmberg was taken by ambulance to the Health Central Hospital with stomach pains after a 911 call from Woods' house. Holmberg, a Swedish politician and the mother of Woods 'wife was released some 11 hours later and returned to Woods' mansion, said hospital spokesman Dan Yates.

"She was in a wheelchair like everyone else on wheels," said Yates.

Health Central is the same hospital, where Woods was treated after he crashed his sport utility vehicle outside his home in a gated community near Windermere in the last month.

Holmberg, 57, arrived in the U.S. a few days ago, just as her daughter dealt with fallout from the accident and the subsequent statement by Woods that he had extramarital "transgressions."

Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren, have a 2-year-old daughter and young son.

Family members visited the hospital Holmberg, Yates said he does not say whether Woods was or his wife. The family hired extra security to keep the media away.

Yates would not speculate what caused Holmberg's stomach problems, or whether they had previously suffered with this type of emergency. Holmberg spokeswoman Eva Malmborg, said she was not aware that Holmberg suffered from a disease.

Holmberg was expected again to her work as President of the Government Gävleborg in central-eastern Sweden next week, said her deputy, Olov Rydberg.
