2010 NFL Mock Draft, Rounds 1 and 2
Only four-and-a-half months until the highly anticipated 2010 NFL Draft.
Can you feel the excitement in the air, or you're too busy feeling the holiday mood?
As usual, I will update my mock draft each week.
getting Without further ado, let's!
Cleveland Browns first-Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
Alright, let's about the fact that both Brady Quinn and Jimmy Clausen of Notre Dame went to get. It does not mean that they are virtually the exact same quarterback.
The perception that Clausen is a 2.0 Quinn is just not fair and shows only stupid decision.
Jimmy Clausen is a slightly better quarterback than Jake Locker. Clausen has had to against some of the better colleges in all of college football.
2nd Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Ndamukong Suh, defensive tackle, Nebraska
I did get some criticism for this, because people think that Tampa Bay is just getting started under Suh plain get old.
So what?
If you are the best player available, you take Suh. He is a perfect fit for their plan and go with great Roy Miller on the defensive line.
I can not see Tampa Bay is in a different way, but with the Phenom Nebraska.
3rd St. Louis Rams-Jake Locker, QB, Washington
Kyle Boller is great! Do you have the game on Sunday he had? Just kidding, he's still terrible.
If St. Louis has not draft a quarterback in the first round, I will personally drive to Missouri set fire to the houses of the people who made the decision.
Jake Locker has a big arm, size and all the tools necessary to be a great NFL quarterback.
Now only if he had to throw weapons … Well, there are rounds 2-7, I guess.
4th Detroit Lions Gerald McCoy, defensive tackle, Oklahoma
Normally I would have Russell Okung happening here, but for some reason the Lions' offensive line coach George Yarno, he said the way Jeff Backus as recently liked to play.
I think what is acceptable by 7.5 sacks through 11 games. But then again, Detroit has only two games in the last two seasons and won!
Gerald McCoy is a stud, no doubt. Detroit dominated love this guy on their defensive line have. Do not be surprised if he ends up being the defensive rookie of the year next season.
5th Kansas City Chiefs-Russell Okung, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma State
Kansas City is not, the ball when they can not meet, Matt Cassel on his feet.
completed in nine games, Branden Albert has already surrendered nine sacks. What is happening with this guy?
Russell Okung is a must-pick selection. He is simply the best offensive tackle in the nation. Kansas City would be idiots if they do not make this pick.
Washington Redskins sixth-Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma
Daniel Snyder loves to go after big name players. Albert Haynesworth, DeAngelo Hall, Clinton Portis, Brian Orakpo and, for example?
Jason Campbell may never succeed in the NFL, especially with the Washington Redskins.
He's done.
Sam Bradford arm is properly wound up by the time of the combine around. He is sure to impress scouts, driving him into the top 10.
Buffalo Bills seventh-Ryan Mallett, QB, Arkansas
This may be fascinating by Rolando McClain, Dan Williams and Eric Berry sound is the fact of the matter, however, that the bills have two terrible quarterbacks on their roster in Ryan Fitzpatrick and Trent Edwards.
Seriously, this team expect more than five games to win next year with one of the two at the top? I hope not.
Ryan Mallett has had a great season with Arkansas. Is it a reach at No. 7? Possible. But Buffalo needs a QB Ryan Mallett needs and Buffalo.
Oakland Raiders eighth-Rolando McClain, Inside Linebacker, Alabama
Maybe not the greatest need, but if you think about Kirk Morrison is set to be a free agent when this season comes to an end.
Rolando McClain had a monster game in the SEC Championship against the Florida Gators, only cemented his status as a top 10 pick.
Al Davis, if your brain is not already turned into dust, draft McClain. You will not regret it.
Denver Broncos 9th-Dan Williams, nose tackle, Tennessee
Dan Williams is rapidly increasing the draft boards in recent weeks. He had a tremendous season with the Volunteers this year.
Denver is missing a big nose tackle. Ronald Fields? Not to be cut. A player like Williams.
10th San Francisco 49ers from Carolina-Eric Berry, safety, Tennessee
It was narrated either pick Eric Berry and Joe Haden with it. I give the 49ers Berry, though.
Berry is considered the best overall athlete in the entire draft? Why not? This guy is to get the best security in a long time.
Seattle Seahawks 11th-Bruce Campbell, Offensive Tackle, Maryland
The Seahawks offensive line has many holes that need to be filled by new talents. Max Unger was a good choice in the 2009 design.
Walter Jones has missed the entire season. Despite his intention to play in 2010, Jones is no more, no starting material.
Bruce Campbell's what the Seahawks need. You will not regret this decision.
12th San Francisco 49ers-Joe Haden, cornerback, Florida
I know it seems crazy. Joe Haden Berry and Eric with the first two picks? Let me explain why.
San Francisco has one of the worst secondaries in the league, for a start. Eric Berry and Joe Haden in the 49ers automatically have one of the best secondaries in the league.
You could be one of those two picks for a first trade in 2011, or trade Nate Clements for a second or third round selection.
13th Houston Texans-Taylor Mays, security, USC
Taylor Mays fall so far would be terrific for the Texans. You need to help in the secondary.
Eugene Wilson will not do the work for Houston's secondary. Mays can immediately step and dominate.
Mays and Bernard Pollard would make a great duo at safety.
14th Tennessee Titans Donovan Warren, cornerback, Michigan
Nick Harper is far beyond his prime. The reason for the Titans secondary is terrible, because he can not cover for crap.
His contract expires at the end of the season. If the Titans are stupid, they will take it.
Donovan Warren will be a day-one starter if they will draft him.
Pittsburgh Steelers 15th-Earl Thomas, Safety, Texans
Troy Polamalu is often violated. When he is off, the Steelers are terrible. This shows how important it can be a man.
With that said, Polamalu needs a partner on the side of him in the secondary.
Ryan Clark and Tyrone Carter both are free agents when the season is over. Earl Thomas can replace those two guys.
16th New York Jets-Damian Williams, wide receiver, USC
Damian Williams had not the greatest game against Arizona last weekend, but no one from USC really.
Braylon Edwards has dropped more passes this year once again. New York can go to him this year.
Finally, Mark Sanchez, that a new target. His former team-mate, sounds perfect.
Atlanta Falcons 17th-Brandon Graham, Defensive End, Michigan
Atlanta is one of the worst teams in the league to get pressure on the quarterback.
Atlanta lacks a strong defensive end on the opposite side of the aging Jonathan Abrahams.
Jamaal Anderson has been a bust so far. Brandon Graham will step to take its place.
Miami Dolphins 18th-Terrence Cody, Nose Tackle, Alabama
Terrence Cody has slipped from late tackle exceeded because of the fact that Dan Williams has his nose for the No. 1 spot.
Jason Ferguson will be 34 soon, and his contract ends in March. Miami need a replacement.
19th Baltimore Ravens-Dez Bryant, wide receiver, Oklahoma State
The Ravens have very few goals on offense. Derrick Mason will probably hang up after this season is over. Remember, he already retired once.
December Bryant, combine despite missing almost the entire season for the Cowboys, a top-20 pick with a strong.
Joe Flacco needs weapons. He gets a great in Bryant.
20th New York Giants-Brandon Spikes, middle linebacker, Florida
Antonio Pierce is for the season. Not to mention, he is nearing the end of his brilliant career with the Giants.
New York has a few needs on defense, they need to fix. Middle linebacker is the most important.
Brandon Spikes has been dominated by the Gators in the school. He is dominant with the Giants in the NFL.
21st Jacksonville Jaguars-Tim Tebow, QB, Florida
It appears that the Jaguars drafting Tim Tebow pretty inevitable at this point. As the governor talk about him begins, it is likely to happen.
Tebow has said that he can play any position that holds a team in the NFL is correct. Will there at quarterback? Doubtful. But he is absolutely stellar in the wildcat formation.
22nd New England Patriots-CJ Spiller, RB, Clemson
How to Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Wes Welker, CJ Spiller and fair in one team? It should not.
Laurence Maroney is the definition of inconsistent. Fred Taylor will start again. Sammy Morris is a decent third string running back.
Spiller is a dynamic playmaker, is difficult to stop.
23rd Green Bay Packers Charles Brown, Offensive Tackle, USC
Green Bay's Aaron Rodgers will be taken on nearly every drop back the guy. This is absurd!
You have to help seriously if they Rodgers to be on, without waiting for a long time injury.
Charles Brown is the perfect fit for the Packers offensive line system.
24th Dallas Cowboys-Anthony Davis, offensive tackle, Rutgers
Flozell Adams is soon likely to retire. He is physically near the end of his career, and of course wear.
Jerry Jones usually goes for big names, but Anthony Davis, while not a great name, is the right choice for the Cowboys.
Philadelphia Eagles 25th-Mike Iupati, Offensive Guard, Idaho
Andy Reid loves big offensive lineman. Reid actually designed a watch in the middle of the first round before 6 years. The guard was Shawn Andrews.
So far, Andrews has been a bust. Just chalk it up to a big idea, which was not pan out.
Mike Iupati is a great choice for the Eagles here.
Seattle Seahawks 26th of Denver-Jahvid Best, RB, California
Jahvid Best will continue to be available when this pick rolls around, that is, unless he has a great combination.
Justin Forsett has shown signs of stardom this year, but even to play with him very well, "said Jim Mora Jr. Julius Jones would start over him after his return from injury.
27th Arizona Cardinals-Jermaine Gresham, Tight End, Oklahoma
Can the Arizona Cardinals starting tight end right now? I seriously doubt it. Anthony Becht and Ben Patrick split time this year.
Jermaine Gresham is miles better than these. Its stock has dropped, apparently because he missed his entire senior season.
With that said, another weapon for Grehsam Kurt Warner will throw unless Warner to retire.
28th Cincinnati Bengals-Ras-I Dowling, FS / CB, Virginia
Cincinnati does not have many needs, so they are looking for depth in an area they could use it in.
Morgan Trent as the nickel corner did not work. In his rookie season, Ras-I Dowling will be able to play many minutes in the nickel.
29th San Diego Chargers-Toby Gerhart, RB, Stanford
I will probably get from limb by limb to have ripped Toby Gerhart go in the first round of the draft.
The main reason that he is not a scheduled first-round pick, because he a white running back. It's like seeing the New Jersey Nets basketball game win: it rarely happens.
Toby Gerhart is a tough, physical and smart runner. I see no reason why San Diego should not draft him.
30th Minnesota Vikings-Travis Lewis, Outside Linebacker, Oklahoma
If you have not changed my mind in the least. If Travis Lewis is there, the Vikings and selects it.
With EJ Henderson for the year, the Minnesota linebacker must step it more than ever before. If they had Lewis, worried they would not exist.
He is not a Middle Linebacker, but may be Ben liver when Henderson was injured again and again.
31st Indianapolis Colts-Joseph Barksdale, Offensive Tackle, LSU
Charlie Johnson became a free agent when this season ends. Indy needs a replacement for him.
The Colts really need a few more when the season is over, even though they are perfectly right now.
Joseph Barksdale is not a household name, but you will hear more about him and come over the next few months.
32nd New Orleans Saints, Sean Weatherspoon, Outside Linebacker, Missouri
New Orleans has a few needs on defense, especially in the linebacking group.
Sean Weatherspoon is of good value with the last pick in the first round. New Orleans would be foolish to pass on this guy.
Round 2:
33rd Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Greg Hardy, defensive end, Ole Miss
34. St. Louis Rams-Carlos Dunlap, Defensive End, Florida
35. Cleveland Browns-Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Georgia Tech
36. Detroit Lions-Trent Williams, Offensive Tackle, Oklahoma
37. Kansas City Chiefs-Allen Bailey, Defensive Lineman, Miami
38. Washington Redskins-Jason Fox, Offensive Tackle, Miami
39. Oakland Raiders-Everson Griffen, Defensive End, USC
40. Buffalo Bills-Vince Oghobaase, Defensive Tackle, Duke
41. Carolina Panthers-Tony Pike, Quarterback, Cincinnati
42. Seattle Seahawks-Colt McCoy, QB, Texas
43. San Francisco 49ers, Jerry Hughes, defensive end / outside linebacker, TCU
44. Houston Texans-Arthur Jones, Defensive Lineman, Syracuse
45. New England Patriots-Brandon Tate of Tennessee, Wide Receiver, Notre Dame
46. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Chicago Arrelious Benn, Wide Receiver, Illinois
47. New York Jets-Jared Odrick, Defensive Lineman, Penn State

The controversy in the Native American mascots in sports with
The Native American image has always been romanticized and admired for his heroism and bravery. Many see the use of their image as a warrior and warriors in American sports mascots as a way to pay homage to Native Americans, but many would also argue that these mascots demean their native language traditions and rituals.
