pretty wild
Here is a confession from me: I'm usually not like reality TV. While this is probably not the best way for the introduction of a review of "Pretty Wild" where the latest reality series from E to premiere at 10.30 clock on 14 March.
Pretty Wild is the story of three sisters and her life in Hollywood (read: their infinite desire to be famous).
The show follows the lives of three sisters: Tess Taylor (19), Alexis Neier (18) and Gabrielle Neier (15), and their unconventional family Hollywood. The series presents an unfiltered look at Hollywood from the perspective of the sisters, whose stunning looks and unstructured education makes them magnets for those who have fallen for many of Tinseltown's temptations.
Tess and Alexis live like the stars of fetuses with the "Who's Who" of young Hollywood to get out the hottest Bad Boys. Her eccentric mother, Andrea, a former [Playboy] model with a heart of gold trying to learn how to clean their daughters, particularly Tess, who they communicate constantly fighting. Fortunately, Gabrielle ("Gabby") is opposed to most of the problems that find their mysterious sisters to be at least so far seems.
Tess works as a model and hopes her recent appearances in several magazines will help her career to the next level, including those in the world of music videos.
Lexi, the middle sister, has a love / hate relationship with Tess, and was often jealous of the attention of all that gets Tess, when she goes out. But recently Lexi gets more attention than it ever had following their arrest as part of an alleged burglary sing imagine. The series follows Lexi, as they face unexpected challenges when she is thrown into a chaotic legal process, from preparation for their upcoming process to deal with the paparazzi to deal with a possible stalker situation.
Although she is the youngest, tends Gabby as the most mature of the group and act as the moral foundation of the family is considered. She was trained at home in the past and is now trying to live like a normal teenager, made it possible to ever driver, for the first time. She is deeply affected by the recent unrest and Lexi's doing its best to keep the family above everything grounded.
I watched the pilot episode earlier today and did not expect to like it. After all, as I said, I do not like reality TV. Particularly on young, spoiled girl right would do anything to become famous.
While there are some things about this family that are absolutely ridiculous. Let's start with the fact that the mother, Andrea, home-schools the girls entirely on the principles of "The Secret" is based. Yes, very seriously. I'm somewhere in the middle in the hope of forming their vision boards, they are actually learning more useful things such as mathematics and natural sciences, but the parts were not shown in the episode. At the very least, had the laugh out loud myself. But then I always get a laugh, amused by ridiculous people.
Other parts are typical young Hollywood reality show – as the parties clearly underage girls in clubs and practice their Stripper Pole Dancing, and trying to solicit business modeling. These parts make me, I roll my eyes – or, in the case of the stripper poles, make me weep for the future of these children.
But the best part is Lexi's legal problems. Honestly, it's like a train wreck – I can not look easy. Because it shows us the consequences of making stupid, stupid mistake, girls like Lexi. This party girl growing up too fast and I think the rules do not apply to them. For those who do not know, was arrested in connection with the Lexi "Bling Ring" – the group of young boys and girls who allegedly broken into the homes of Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom, Lindsay Lohan, Audrina Partridge and Megan Fox. My cursory research has shown that the outcome of procedure has not yet been decided, but that may be wrong. In any case, it is interesting to spoiled teenagers deal with lawyers and court room to see performances. Not because I am some sort of sick thrill suffer from watching people derive, but because for all of 80 minutes behind bars, the celebrities tend to face (ie Nicole Ritchie), it is observed to be interesting, rich and famous (or notorious – or D list), people sometimes have to take a walk on the real side of life. And believe me, the effects begin in the pilot episode. It is not all stripper poles and Martinis, if you with the wrong people, kiddies running.
So I like reality TV now? Not really. But there were also parts of the Pretty Wild, which I maintain. This does not mean I will just start the Bachelor though. Not having known the girl that she is "happy to pay," as if "favor bears" is a great conversation starter.
